JEAN-MICHEL REUTELER
Jean-Michel Reuteler uses photography to then shape his work into images. His offbeat style is at times poetic and fantastical, with the occasional touch of humour. His images are often dark, to draw the viewer's eye towards the light. For him, the beauty of an image is not necessarily in its appearance, but in the emotion it conveys.
TARIQ DINAOUI
For over 13 years, this Casablanca-born artist shared his passion for art by teaching in the public sector. In 2010, Tariq took the bold step of resigning from his teaching post to join his family in Switzerland. Since then, he has been exploring different subjects in his paintings, including animals and landscapes. His most recent exhibition, entitled “Montagnes et Reines”, was held in 2023 at the Musée de la Forge in Hérémence and experienced a great success.
In early 2024, Tariq decided to broaden his artistic horizons by drawing inspiration from geometric abstract paintings, following the example of Vasarely. Although influenced by other artists, he has developed his own unique style. He carefully observes his subjects, breaking them down and reassembling them according to his own personal artistic vision.
Geometric mountains are omnipresent in his work, blending harmoniously into the setting. He also depicts animals such as deer, ibex and fish, recalling the deep human attachment to the mountains and their environment. Tariq first applies texture before covering it with paint, thus creating a captivating movement and vibrancy in his paintings. Tariq Dinaoui's art is a visual journey that takes viewers from majestic peaks to abstract forms, inviting them to explore their own relationship with nature and the beauty that surrounds them. Come and experience his artistic universe and be inspired by his unique vision.
